About Me
Growing up in Connecticut, I always felt different from other kids. I wasn't a straight A student, didn't play sports, and couldn't find a crowd that I felt comfortable with. Throughout high school and into college, I loved creative writing classes and enjoyed the little escapes that the writing assignments provided me. I kept many journals and dreamed of seeing my short stories and articles in print.
Then, at some point during that time, I decided to let a few people outside of school read my writing. Well, let's just say that I didn't get the overwhelming reaction I thought I'd get! I hadn't prepared myself for criticism and for people who said they just didn't like what I wrote. I believed what they said and shut down my creative writing completely. That lasted for 20 years(!) until the urge to write welled up inside of me and became so compelling that I couldn't NOT write. The dam of inspiration broke and ideas came flooding into my consciousness.
At the same time that I began writing my (soon to be finished) fantasy novel, The Society of Sylphs, another previously dormant gift awakened within me - I finally accepted that I am an intuitive medium.
I began working with a life coach who provided the guidance and support I needed to embrace my gifts. And now, whether I'm writing, speaking, or delivering messages from beyond, my self expression comes through truer, purer, and with more clarity than ever before.
My wish is to encourage my readers to embrace their own truths with peace and grace, while allowing others to express theirs.
