The Cloud Appreciation Society

For those of you who’ve been looking for sylphs in the clouds, I’ve recently discovered the Cloud Appreciation Society (http://cloudappreciationsociety.org) and am proud to be a member.  Membership costs $10 [your credit card may charge a foreign conversion fee] and comes with a certificate and other goodies.

The society is run by Gavin Pretor-Pinney, who states, “cloud-gazing is a gloriously aimless pursuit”.  I wholeheartedly agree!

Check out the website and browse over 5,000 amazing cloud photos from all over the world.

In fact, if you have any cool cloud pictures, submit them to the Sylph Society Gallery and I’ll post them on the site!

Happy Cloud-Gazing!

Lea
